Finally!
A new era of Miami football will begin in just a few short days when the RedHawks take on the Wildcats of Kentucky at Paul Brown Stadium. I'm sure that for the team and the new coaching staff it has seemed like an eternity since December, when Coach Haywood was named the new head coach of the RedHawks.
I, like all of you, am extremely excited about this year's team. The psychological makeup of this team has changed drastically from a year ago. You see it in everything from the attitude on the practice field and the sidelines, to the sense of urgency to be a much better football team.
It was good this week to see that key players, like Dustin Woods, are getting healthy, suiting up for practice and will be ready to go on Saturday. Look for the game notes for Saturday's game and get the game one two-deep at http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/mioh/sports/m-footbl/auto_pdf/weekly-release.pdf
